Corrections

We correct errors in public, on the page where the error appeared, and we keep the record of what changed.

Last reviewed: Placeholder — set when this policy is first formally approved

How to report an error

Use the contact form and include the page address, the statement you believe is wrong, and — where possible — a source. Reports about a provider's current licensing, ownership, fees or status are particularly welcome, because archive material is known to be stale.

What we do

  1. Acknowledge the report and record it against the affected record.
  2. Check the disputed statement against primary sources.
  3. Where the statement is wrong, correct it, add a dated correction note to the page, and set the editorial modification date.
  4. Where the statement is unverifiable rather than wrong, label it as unverified rather than quietly removing it.
  5. Where the statement stands, explain why.

We do not silently delete published claims. Significant corrections stay visible on the page and are listed below.

Correction log

No corrections have been published yet. This log records, for each entry: the affected page, the date of the original claim, the date of correction, what was wrong, and what it was changed to.

Archive caveat

The 28 records migrated from 2017–2021 have not been fact-checked. Rather than issue blanket corrections we have quarantined that material: it is labelled legacy, marked unreviewed, excluded from ratings, summaries and structured claims, and carries a warning that provider details may have changed. Corrections to specific archive claims will be logged here as they are established.
